Information
|
There are several sites which allow teachers to make online quizzes or tests for free. The two which are recommended for the training are Quia.com or SCRTEC.org. Both sites require teachers to first register with them (at no charge) before allowing them to make quizzes. |

After you register and Quia has contacted you, go ahead and make your first quiz. You may want to move ahead to another section if Quia does not yet have you set up, or wait about a half hour and usually Quia will have your account ready. If you want to know more about the different Quia quizzes and how to make them, watch the video. |

Create a link on your home page to the quiz login page. Your students will use this link to take the quiz after you provide them with the session name. The quiz/test will be graded for you and the data will be broken down so you can tell what question was missed most often. It also breaks down each student's results. |

Since you are working with the Internet, it will be important for you to have a little understanding about copyright and fair use. To see how Quia works and to test your knowledge of "Fair Use," click on the link to the right to take a seven question quiz. You will need to enter the session name after entering Quia. Type in "Fair Use." After taking the quiz, close the pop-up window by clicking in the small box in the upper left hand corner. |
