- Analysis: Pretend you are a writer for the local newspaper. Make a list of 10 questions you would ask R.F. if you were given the opportunity to interview him. Remember, he is an important and busy person, do not ask questions that can easily be found through general research.
- Knowledge: Write a "Tanka" on a subject that R.F. might have chosen.
- Application: List several popular phrases from poems by Robert Frost. Ask at least 10 people of varying age, if they recognize the phrases ,which is their favorite, and/or which is the most meaningful. Graph the results of your survey.
- Comprehension: Research the life of Robert Frost. Summarize into an essay the major events that shaped his life in three different phases (early, middle, late).
- Synthesis: Study the last stanza of "The Road Not Taken." Is the speaker regretful? triumphant? satisfied? bitter? Explain your choice and explain your thoughts. Have you ever writtten something that left the reader feeling the same. Explain.
- Evaluation: Rank 5 poems by R.F. from your most favorite to least favorite. Give at least 2 reasons per poem for your choices.
